Work It Girl

Today was beyond gorgeous. We have been waiting for nice weather for what seems like forever! Let’s hope it stays this way 🙂 Here are two new workout moves for you guys. One targets the behindddd and the other works both the arms and quads. Here we go!

Workout Move #1 for the Bootay

Start with both your hands and knees on the ground; basically on all fours like so:

Then, raise your right leg with the knee pointing out, like you see here:

The foot should be right behind you

Once the leg is raised, kick out:

Repeat this exercise by kicking the foot in and out for 3 sets of 12 reps. Once the right leg is done, do the same on the left side.

Now for the quads and arms. You’ll need weights anywhere from 5-8 lbs. To start, stand with legs hip-wide apart, weights right in front of you.

Then, squat so that your knees are slightly over your toes. At the same time that you squat, raise your arms so that they are parallel to your chest:

Stand back up in the same position as you started (fit hip-wide apart, weights in front of you). Repeat this 20 times and do 3 reps.
