Barlean’s Give Away!

Whatsup all? Is this not the slowest week ever? For some reason it definitely seems that way.. anyway, I want to get straight into the give away! If you’re a follower of StephSnacks, you probably know that I use Barlean’s Omega Swirl in most of my greek yogurt breakfasts. My mom got me hooked on this stuff and I wanted to know more. I went on the Barlean’s website and learned how incredibly good for you every single one of their products are. I love their omega swirls in particular, which are packed with Omega 3’s–great for heart health, skin, hair, and nail growth, and energy amongst others.

Barlean’s was so generous and provided me with a few samples of their products, including these two:

Chocolate Raspberry Swirl and Greens

In all honesty, I use the Chocolate Raspberry Swirl at least once a day. Even if I’m pouring it directly into a spoon and having a taste! I love that it cures my sweet tooth while also providing me with my essential 3,6,9 Omega’s! Here are some other ways I enjoy the Chocolate Raspberry Swirl:

Drizzled Over Strawberries..

In Yogurt Messes!

Today, for the first time, I tried the Greens-Natural Berry Flavor. You will not believe how many vitamins, antioxidants, and herbal tonics are in here.. it’s seriously awesome. All in one tablespoon! As directed, I added the table spoon to a juice, such as orange juice, and mixed thoroughly. I also added a splash of club soda.

Pre-Mixed

Mixed!

I made sure to stir pretty vigorously in order to dissolve most of the green. Verdict: Absolutely fantastic. I really, really enjoyed the berry flavor and felt that it gave an added ‘kick’ to my orange juice. It was also nice to know that I was filling my body with a hefty amount of vitamins and minerals.

So here’s what you’ve all been waiting for.. the give away! I am going to give away a bottle of the Chocolate Raspberry Omega Swirl πŸ™‚ There are three chances to enter! Leave a comment each time you enter in one of these ways.

1) Comment here about what you would use the Omega Swirl for
2) Follow me on Twitter: @StephSnacks
3) Tweet “Check out @StephSnacks blog, http://www.StephSnacks.com, for a chocolatey give away!” (or something like that)

I will pick the winner Thursday night.. good luck!

  1. Would it be weird to want to use this in cottage cheese? I dont know why, but I’ve really been trying to like cottage cheese! The texture gets to me though, so I try to mix things into it. Any suggestions, oh wise one?

  2. Every morning I have to have Stonyfield fat free plain yogurt mixed with some kind of fibery Trader Joe’s Cereal (you know I hate milk!) I usually throw berries or bananas in the mix, and sometimes I throw a little bit of Smart balance peanut butter in. This would be so much better than peanut butter!

  3. Ooh! I’ve wanted to try the swirl so badly! I would use it as an ice cream topper and on my oatmeal!!

  4. Sounds fantastic in a yogurt mess! πŸ˜‰ I’m always looking to amp up the flavor of plain greek yogurt!

Would probably be great drizzled over cereal or oatmeal too πŸ™‚
